RFI (market research) - Course and conference services RFI (request for information) - Market research prior to the announcement of a competition for the procurement of course and conference services. The Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority needs course and conference services in cities/towns/places throughout the country. On average, we buy such services for approx. MNOK 8 incl. VAT per year. The services include day packages with and without accommodation. The number of people registered for our courses and conferences will often be reduced from the date of order, to carry out the event. This can entail large costs linked to no-show fees (on average approx. 80, 000-100, 000 including VAT per year). As public purchases are made with taxpayers' money, we want to do our utmost to to ensure that our purchases are efficient, so that taxpayers get the most for the public benefits. The Norwegian Labor and Welfare Authority strives to reduce no-show fees, both through internal routines for ordering services, but also with the help of more customer-friendly cancellation and reduction deadlines. Through this market survey, we want feedback from the market on our proposal for these deadlines. Is our proposal something that the market can accommodate? If not, what are the suggested percentages for days until the start of the event per participant level? And do you think that cancellation and reduction deadlines can be used as an award criterion?
