The TexasDepartment of Public Safety (TxDPS) is seeking current information to performmarket research related to advanced Identity and Access Management (IAM)solution with a primary focus on delivering comprehensive Identity Governance.While our current ecosystem relies solely on Microsoft Active Directory as the"User Source of Truth, " our goal is to modernize identity managementby extending capabilities across cloud, SaaS, on premises, and legacyenvironments.This new identityecosystem will likely not be a single vendor solution but requires an identitycore to be central to the integration of other components of the ecosystem. A significantemphasis of this RFI is the implementation of a robust Zero Trust securitymodel. The solution must be designed around the principle of "never trust, always verify"—ensuring that every access request is dynamicallyauthenticated, authorized, and verified before granting access.
