Sealed Bids: Sealed Bids For Construction Of The Project Entitled Hwy 53 Water Treatment Plant Expansion Will Be Received Until 10:00 Am On Friday, August 11, 2023 At 138 Sweetwater Trail, Winder, Georgia 30680, (770)‐867‐3106, At Which Time And Place They Will Be Publicly Opened And Read. The Owner Will Evaluate All Bids Received And Award The Contract Based On Bid Price And Qualifications. The Contractor Selected Will Be Notified In Writing By The Owner. No Bid May Be Withdrawn After The Closing Time For The Receipt Of Bids For A Period Of Sixty (60) Calendar Days. 2. Work To Be Done: The Work To Be Completed For The Hwy 53 Water Treatment Plant Expansion Is Described Briefly As Follows: In General, Construction Shall Consist Of Modifying The Flow Control Vault And Pre‐flash Mixer, Constructing A New Hydraulic Flocculator, Installing Plate Settler And Sludge Collection Systems, Rehabilitating The Filters, Constructing A New Bulk Chemical Storage Facility And Chemical Feed Improvements, A New Backup Generator, And Other Miscellaneous Piping, Instrumentation, And Electrical Work.
