THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE, NOT A REQUEST FOR A QUOTE (RFQ). A RFQ WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND QUOTES WILL NOT BE REQUESTED.
In accordance with FAR 6.103-1, the Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis for:
NAV10-001 Rev A INTERFACE-6061 - Qty 350 each
NAV10-002 Rev A LID-6061 - Qty 350 each
Shipping Costs - Qty 1 lot (4 instances)
to Small Parts Mfg. (SPM) Co. Inc., 4401 NE MLK Jr. Blvd., Portland, OR, 97211 as the manufacturer and sole distributor. The tolerances and coating specifications are controlled by SPM who also controls the prototype and process information. The above-mentioned hardware must match the existing electronic and mounting hardware in form-fit-function and are direct replacements of units damaged in the field. Therefore, the hardware can only be bought from SPM.
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; no solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 06/29/2026 @ 1 PM PST. The written response shall reference solicitation number N68936-26-SIMACQ-DB0000M/EB0000M-0371 and must provide a clear and concise capability statement to show the ability to perform the required work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability and schedule.
