The objective of this restoration is to ensure the sustainability of the building while retaining its current characteristics and its different archaeological strata. The work also includes the rationalization and upgrading of technical installations. so that the Basilica can continue to be used as a place of worship. The market is divided into two lots: Lot 1 - Restoration of the exterior and interior envelope: This lot includes general site installation, roofs, facades, exterior carpentry and interior work Lot 2 - Restoration of the stained glass windows: This lot includes all the interventions specific to the stained glass windows The Notre-Dame Basilica of Basse-Wavre is classified as a Monument following the royal decree of 03/08/1938. Intervention philosophy: The Basilica of Notre-Dame de Basse-Wavre as we observe it today is the result of modifications and enlargements spanning eight consecutive centuries with a final major transformation in 18th century probably made by the court architect Guillaume De Bruyne.
