Restoration of methane gas detectors at the Ajdovščina compressor station (repeat order) The subject of the order is the renovation of the methane gas detectors at the Ajdovščina Compressor Station. Due to wear and tear of the manufacturer's stationary methane gas detectors Oldham (Teledyne/Oldham Simtronics), it is necessary to replace the existing detectors with newer, equivalent detectors, as were installed in the building of the third compressor unit in Ajdovščina, and which enable connection to the existing system (15-30 VDC power supply, output signal 4-20 mA) without interfering with the control system of the compressor station and are intended for methane detection with a measurement range of 0-100% LEL. It is recommended to replace the detectors with Oldham detectors or with technically equivalent equipment, namely with model that succeeded the series of existing gas detectors of the system for detecting and reporting the presence of combustible gases and vapors. Methane gas detectors will be replaced in 2026 in the premises of the first and second compressor units, border control station and boiler rooms of the Ajdovščina compressor station. It is desirable to provide a unified detection system that enables operation without interfering with the existing control system of the Ajdovščina compressor station. When new gas detectors are installed, an initial test is carried out calibration, performance test and issuance of relevant certificates of faultless operation valid until 2027.
