Carrying out accredited tests of the co-combustion process of two types of fuel produced from municipal waste (hereinafter RDF I and RDF II) with thermal coal in a WR-25 type heating boiler modernized with a flue gas treatment system (SNCR, dry removal sour gases, fabric filter) to meet currently applicable emission standards. The research will be carried out in March 2026 (or at the beginning of April this year) at the municipal heating plant in Pabianice for a period of 1 week. Expected test schedule: Day 1 fuel: thermal coal Day 2 fuel: thermal coal + 5% RDF I Day 3 fuel: thermal coal + 10% RDF I Day 4 fuel: thermal coal + 5% RDF II Day 5 fuel: thermal coal + 10% RDF II Each test with using a given type of fuel will last approximately 24 hours. Estimated measurement time: 8-12 hours, after stabilization of the installation operating conditions.
