Project DescriptionThe Strengthening Institutions and Empowering Localities Against Disasters and Climate Change (SHIELD)Program is a six-year initiative implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) through the support of the Government of Australia (GOA) Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in the Philippines (DFAT), to assist the Government of the Philippines (GPH) in building the country'sinstitutional and community resilience to climate change and disasters.
