This is a tender for the appointment of a multi-disciplinary conservation-led design team to prepare and submit all statutory and design documentation necessary to secure: Planning Permission for the conversion of the first floor of the Sisters of Mercy Convent, Ballina, into three to four self-contained residential units, Fire Safety Certificate and Disability Access Certificate for the first floor of the ground floor; and Concept design, outline specifications, and cost plan suitable for tendering future construction works. The works are to be designed within the context of the building-s Protected Structure status, using existing survey data, AutoCAD drawings, and conservation assessments already available. All work affecting the historic fabric must be accompanied by a method statement prepared by a suitably qualified professional.
