This is a joint procurement, which is carried out with the following organizations: Raasepor city, Hanko city and Inkoo municipality. In the following, the term "Subscribers" is used. The subscribers request your offer for the persons found and caught on the loose in their area. for organizing temporary care of dogs and cats and other small companion and hobby animals (found animals) from an external service provider (Animal Welfare Act § 26 and § 27). The service consists of the following parts: 1. Loose temporary treatment and accommodation of animals found and recovered) Caring for the basic needs of animals: appropriate, spacious and protected accommodation, food, drink, exercise and social care.b) First aid or other care determined by a veterinarian arranging reasonable and appropriate care in the event of illness or injury. This means, for example, acute care in a local emergency room, but not demanding special care. For example, weight bearing and pain medication for a broken limb are counted including but not surgical treatment. 2. If necessary, notification to the police and authorities a) The service provider will take care of notification to the police or a control veterinarian if an animal is suspected of a crime covered by the Animal Protection Act.b) If a dog is not marked or registered, but the owner can be found in another way, the service provider must inform the authorities about this.c) If the animal is handed over to a new owner, microchips and ...
