The Minerals North Conference Association (MNCA) awarded the Town of Smithers (the Town) the contract to host the 35th annual Minerals North Conference and Trade Show (the Event). The Event is an annual gathering of northern BC communities and the mineral sector. The Event provides an opportunity to learn about current activities in mining and exploration in northern British Columbia, a venue for establishing business contacts, and a forum for healthy dialogue leading to responsible resource development. In parallel with the Event, there will be pre-conference activities. Local suppliers and non-profit groups will be engaged to provide services to the Event, making it a community wide Event. The Town is seeking quotations from qualified and experienced catering companies to submit competitive proposals for providing food, beverage and related catering services for the Event
