REQUEST FOR QUOTATION FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF SUPPLIES/MATERIALS FOR LDRRM OFFICE USE
1. The Local Government Unit - Maconacon, Isabela, through the 2019 GENERAL FUND of the amounting one hundred forty seven thousand two hundred sixty six pesos only (147, 266.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the REQUEST FOR QUOTATION FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF SUPPLIES/MATERIALS FOR LDRRM OFFICE USE received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected a bid opening.
2. The LGU Maconacon, Isabela now invites REQUEST FOR QUOTATION FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF SUPPLIES/MATERIALS FOR LDRRM OFFICE USE. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders.
3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary -œpass/fail- criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwise known as the -œGovernment Procurement Reform Act-.
Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines, and to citizens or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privileges to Filipino citizens, pursuant to RA 5183 and subject to Commonwealth Act 138.
4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from LGU Maconacon, Isabela BAC and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders from May 28 - June 04, 2019 2PM from the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of five hundred Pesos (P500.00) only.
5. The LGU Maconacon, Isabela will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on May 31, 2019 2:30pm at the LGU Municipal Hall Building, LGU Compound which shall be open to all interested parties.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or June 04, 2019 2pm All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 18.1.
7. Bid opening shall be on June 04, 2019 2:30pm at LGU Municipal Hall, LGU Compound. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders- representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late bids shall not be accepted.
8. The LGU Maconacon, Isabela reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.

A. General
1. Scope of Bid
1.1. The procuring entity named in the BDS (hereinafter referred to as the -œProcuring Entity-) wishes to receive bids for the REQUEST FOR QUOTATION FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF SUPPLIES/MATERIALS FOR LDRRM OFFICE USE as described in Section VII. Technical Specifications (hereinafter referred to as the -œGoods-).
1.2. The name, identification, and number of lots specific to this bidding are provided in the BDS. The contracting strategy and basis of evaluation of lots is described in ITB Clause 28.
2. Source of Funds
The Procuring Entity has a budget or has applied for or received funds from the Funding Source named in the BDS, and in the amount indicated in the BDS. It intends to apply part of the funds received for the Project, as defined in the BDS, to cover eligible payments under the contract.
