The New Eastside Market (“Market”) is a city-owned retail facility situated at the intersectionofEast 105th Street and St. Clair Avenue in the Glenville neighborhood. Originallyestablishedas a public market thatoperateduntil 2007, the facility underwent a significant revitalization and reopened in 2019 as a city-owned, independently operated grocery store. The 19, 620-square-foot building features food retail space, commercial and demonstrationkitchens, clinic space, and office space.The City of Cleveland is seeking proposals from qualified operators (“Respondents”) for the Market.TheCitywelcomes creative proposals from Respondents.Examples of Respondents include, but are not limited to, organizations, cooperatives, and partnerships.The selected partners(“Operators”) willbe responsible forcarrying out thevision for the Market.
