EMPLOYEESRETIREMENT SYSTEM OF TEXASREQUEST FOR PROPOSALS TO UNDERWRITE AND ADMINISTERGROUP TERM LIFE INSURANCE AND ACCIDENTAL DEATH AND DISMEMBERMENT INSURANCESERVICES UNDER THE TEXAS EMPLOYEES GROUP BENEFITS PROGRAMSOLICITATIONNO. 25-14331-001NIGP CODE: 953-63The Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS) has issued a Requestfor Proposals (RFP) seeking a qualified entity (Respondent) to fully insure andprovide all operational services as described in the RFP for Group Term LifeInsurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance for ActiveEmployees, Retirees, and Dependents under the Texas Employees Group BenefitsProgram in accordance with Chapter 1551 of the Tex. Ins. Code. Respondent shallprovide the level of services required in the RFP and meet other requirementsthat are in the best interests of ERS, its members, and the state of Texas(State). Respondent shall be required to execute a contract (Contract) providedby, and satisfactory to, ERS for a period that begins upon execution of theContract by ERS and extends through August 31, 2033, subject to the terms ofthe Contract. It is anticipated the Contract will be executed in December 2026.TheConfidentiality and Nondisclosure Agreement, attached to the RFP as Appendix D (NDA), must be properly executed via DocuSign in order to receive ERS- confidentialappendices (Appendices Q, Q-1, Q-2, R and R-1).Questions will be accepted via Euna Procurement (formerly, “Bonfire”) until Februrary 23, 2026at 4:00 p.m Central Time(CT)....
