Tender Details
The Squamish-Lillooet Regional District (SLRD) invites Proponents to submit proposals for developing an Agriculture Emergency Plan for the four SLRD Electoral Areas and agriculture disaster resilience education materials for farmers within these electoral areas. This project will build off the SLRD All-Hazards Emergency Response Plan, the SLRD Community Risk Assessment, the SLRD Agricultural Plans (including the Area B, District of Lillooet and St'at'imc Agricultural Plan; the Pemberton Valley Agricultural Plan, and the Squamish Valley Agricultural Plan) as well as the SLRD's Agricultural Land Use Inventories, which are currently being updated. This 12-month contract position is funded by the BC Investment Agriculture Foundation (IAF) Food Security Emergency Planning and Preparedness Fund.
