Airservices is engaging industry via this RFI for the purpose of further understanding the current market appetite for the development of USS capability and solutions. We are seeking insights for industry participation in the development and operationalisation of USSs in Australia, and the kinds of initiatives Airservices should consider that support USS in Australia. Participation in Airservices support initiatives is anticipated to be open for applications in September, to run from late 2024 to December 2025. In this time, selected participants will be expected to collaborate across a broad range of stakeholders, including but not limited to, Airservices, CASA, the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, and the Arts (the Department), and other industry bodies to ensure successful implementation of their USS solution in line with the launch of FIMS.
