SaskTel is seeking responses from prospective Suppliers for the purposes of gathering information to assist SaskTel in exploring potential future purchasing options and requirements for an integrated IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) CORE/Telephony Application Server (TAS) solution. As the telecom industry evolves from 2G/3G to VoLTE and VoNR technologies, IMS CORE/TAS platforms serving voice and multimedia services for VoLTE and VoNR need to be 3GPP Rel16 compliant. SaskTel is seeking solutions available to provide this compliance. This RFI process is to allow suppliers the opportunity to describe how their products and services align with 3GPP Rel16 compliance standards to ensure SaskTel has an understanding of available solutions to facilitate a request for proposal in the future for an integrated IMS CORE/TAS platform solution.
