Request for information (RFI) - Upgrading of existing charging infrastructure for ferry traffic Trøndelag

Trøndelag county council was among the first to electrify their ferries when the connections Flakk - Rørvik and Brekstad - Valset were electrified in 2019. Developments, upgrades and any new establishments. The infrastructure of the day has a design life of 25 years with the exception of individual components such as batteries. Both connections use the Stemmann's charging tower for linking between land and vessels. At the same time, in particular, the first -generation facilities have an experienced high degree of tailoring between land and vessel. The county council does not want the facility on land to be a limiting factor in upcoming contract and therefore assesses small and large upgrades to make the facility more accessible.
