This is a Request for information (RFI) regarding design and supply of storage tanks for liquid CO2. Efla, an Icelandic engineering company is publishing this Request for Information (RFI) on behalf of Carbfix, for the Coda Terminal project in Iceland, a Carbon Capture Storage (CCS) project. This is to allow potential suppliers with relevant experience on liquefied CO2 storage tanks to provide an input/advice on possible solutions prior to the start of the tender procedure without any obligation on behalf of the Buyer. The Coda Terminal is a CCS project which entails the import of liquid CO2 from Europe and its injection underground for mineralization. The liquid CO2 will be imported to Iceland by ships and will be stored in the storage tanks where it will be maintained in a liquid state until it will be withdrawn for conditioning and injection underground.
