I) INTRODUCTION: This Request for Information (RFI) aims to carry out a market investigation to identify companies with the capacity and interest in the REPLACEMENT OF THE FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM OF THE GENERATORS AND TRANSFORMERS OF THE SANTIAGO ANTUNEZ DE MAYOLO AND RESTITUTION HYDROELECTRIC PLANTS. This exercise is carried out exclusively for information and planning purposes, with the purpose of knowing the availability of specialized suppliers, technological solutions and market capabilities that can meet the requirements of the project. Participation in this application will not generate any cost for the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) or for the participating companies. The information collected will allow UNOPS to have a reference of potentially qualified companies that could participate in future competitive international selection processes. It should be noted that the project contemplates the eventual subscription of the contract with ELECTROPERU. However, this announcement does not constitute a request for offers or a bidding process, and therefore will not lead to the award of any contract.
