The Ministry of Education and Culture (OKM) is preparing the acquisition of a comprehensive assessment of the current state of physical education research in Finland. The purpose of this information request is to clarify questions and price estimates related to the implementation of the evaluation. The goal is to get comprehensive information about the procurement, so that a possible tender can be carried out in the most expedient manner possible. This document is not a procurement announcement or a request for tender, but a market survey, i.e. a request for information. The procurement unit does not commit to carry out the purchase. Decisions on starting a possible procurement process are made after the market survey. PURPOSE OF PROCUREMENT: The goal of the Ministry of Education and Culture, the State Sports Council is to acquire an assessment that produces an overall picture about the current status, position, focus, actors, prerequisites, strengths and development targets and opportunities of Finnish sports research. In addition, the development of exercise research in Finland since the previous exercise study is evaluated overall assessment from the beginning of the 2010s and the situation in reference countries. The evaluation also produces development recommendations for the development of exercise research in Finland. In evaluation previous studies, evaluations, surveys and other reports, statistical and bibliometric reviews, as well as new materials collected during the work, such as interviews and surveys, are used.
