Lapland's welfare area (Lapha) is planning a competition for digipatology production system. This is a request for information regarding the capabilities of slide scanners and digital pathology related software and systems. The purpose of the request for information is to map out what kind of alternatives there are on the market for a suitable digital dam for Lapha's pathology operationsas a complete solution for the logia production system.
Background and goals:
The two pathology units in the Lapha region (Lapland Central Hospital in Rovaniemi and Lansi-Pohja Central Hospital in Kemi) are aiming for full digitalization with regard to pathology histological slides. Lapha still does not have approxground glass scanners. The purpose of this request for information is to survey the market situation in terms of what kind of equipment and overall solutions are available for the needs of the Central Hospital of Lapland and as an option to be implemented later for the needs of the pathology unit of West North.ksikkoe annually produces approximately 43, 500 histological specimen slides and the pathology unit of Lansi-Pohja Central Hospital produces approximately 23, 500 specimen slides.
