The City of Helsinki's service center business department (later Palvekuskeskus Helsinki) uses this information request to survey the options available on the market for the purchase of basic cleaning services for the use of Palvekuskeskus Helsinki. Cleaning services (basic cleaning) contract supplier Palvelukeskus will be selected for the three operational areas of Helsinki. In one area, there are approximately 30-60 basic cleanings per year. According to preliminary information, the objects to be cleaned are objects of early childhood education, but it is possible that there will also be other types of offices for basic cleaning. The current practice has been that the sites are cleaned every two years, but every year if necessary. The amount of basic cleaning varies greatly by region and year. Palvelukeskus Helsinki currently has around 270 maintenance cleaning items. The operating method was that the service center tendered the basic cleaning work of these sites. The basic cleaning jobs that have been competed for have been: - basic cleaning of the floors - upper dust basic washing - basic washing of windows - other basic cleaning work, e.g. textile surfaces Respondents can make their own proposals for different solutions for the procurement of basic cleaning services. The attachments to the request for information include preliminary documents and a fillable Excel file, Appendix 1, Request for information. According to the preliminary plan, the actual request for tenders would be published in early 2027, and the contract period is supposed to start in January 2028.
