Statnett's mission is to secure the electricity supply by building, operating and maintaining the Norwegian power system. We are on standby around the clock. Statnett is a state enterprise owned by the state Ministry of Energy. We will also facilitate electrification and value creation for our customers and society. Statnett is establishing a modern security architecture based on Gartner's framework - Cyber Security Mesh Architecture (CSMA). A core component of CSMA is privileged handling accesses with identity as the perimeter, for both humans and machines. With the announcement, Statnett wants to get an answer as to which solutions in the market handle privileged access in accordance with The CSMA framework. The solution Statnett is seeking must support a hybrid infrastructure consisting of both legacy and modern services. See the document "RFI Zero Trust platform" for further information
