This Request for Pre-qualification process is intended to solicit responses from Mechanical Contractors interested in working on projects with York Region District School Board (YRDSB).
Mechanical Contractors who do not participate in this Pre-qualification process and who are not subsequently approved will be excluded from bid opportunities during the term of this Pre-qualification.
ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS ONLY, shall be received by the Bidding System, no later than the closing date and time.
All Bidders shall have a Bidding System Vendor account and be registered as a Plan Taker for this Bid opportunity, which will enable the Bidder to download the Bid Call Document, to receive Addenda/Addendum email notifications, download Addendums and to submit their bid electronically through the Bidding System.
Late Bids shall not be accepted by the Bidding System.
To ensure receipt of the latest information and updates via email regarding this bid, or If a Bidder has obtained this Bid Document from a third party, the onus is on the Bidder to create a Bidding System Vendor account and register as a Plan Taker for the bid opportunity at https://yrdsb.bidsandtenders.ca
NOTE: Contractors who have been previously pre-qualified for mechanical contracting work or who are currently performing this type of work for the Board must also respond to this request. Contractors that do not participate in this pre-qualification process and who are not subsequently approved will be excluded from bid opportunities during the term of this pre-qualification.
The successful Applicants will be entering into a Pre-qualification term of three years. Pre-Qualification will ensure that successful firms will receive Requests for Tender, Requests for Quotation and Requests for Proposal for the period of March 1, 2023 to February 28, 2026. Please note: commencement date is an estimate only. Actual dates may differ.
