A. Background1. The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) is the leading humanitarian organization saving lives and changing lives, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience across the world.B. Objective2. WFP Afghanistan seeks reputable and legally registered service providers for Clearing and Forwarding (C&F) services in Termez, Uzbekistan to establish a shortlist of capable vendors for the period of one year from 01 March 2026 to 28 February 2027.3. This request for Expression of Interest (EoI) aims to identify qualified service providers to provide C&F services. WFP Afghanistan invites eligible service providers to express their interest in providing the requested services.C. Service Requirement4. Custom Clearance of cargo at Termez-Uzbekistan and Hairatan-Afghanistan border crossing points.5. Transportation of food commodities (e.g., cereals, pulses, edible oils, blended foods, sugar etc.) packaged in bags, carton and tins as well as Non-Food Items (NFIs) from Termez, Uzbekistan to Afghanistan such as Mazar, Kabul, Faizabad, Jalalabad, Kandahar and Herat.6. This request for EoI is the initial step for the first stage for shortlisting.7. After the deadline for submission of responses has passed, WFP will evaluate responses received and will notify eligible participants of the outcome of the evaluation.D. Eligibility Criteria8.
