Transportation services for the deceased include transportation of the deceased from the welfare area's own units, from units produced as purchase services, care of home hospital services and from the deceased's home/place of death to the place of business defined by the welfare area, as a rule the closest to the deceased storage space. In addition, the transports include the transport of the deceased to the Lapland Central Hospital in Rovaniemi or the Länsi-Pohja Hospital in Kemi to determine the medical cause of death. If necessary, also other welfare area needs of the deceased transfers can be obtained during the contract period. Procurement is divided into sub-areas by locality (21 sub-areas). The distribution of the overall purchase has been implemented by dividing the localities according to the geographical area of the welfare area into sub-areas. In procurement can offer to one or more sub-areas, and each sub-area will basically conclude its own procurement contracts. The bidder can therefore choose which locality/countries, i.e. sub-region, to submit the bid to. The anticipated total value (estimate) of the procurement is 1, 400, 000 euros (VAT 0%) with all areas taken into account, calculated over a 48-month procurement period. Documents
