&Ldquo;Styles&Rdquo; Fire Tower (Sft), Located Near Nannup Within The Blackwood District, Has Been Identified Through A Recent Engineering Inspection As Nearing The End Of Its Serviceable Life. The Assessment Revealed Significant Structural Deterioration, Indicating The Tower Will Become Unsuitable For Operational Use Within The Next 12 Months. Due To The Advanced State Of Degradation, Ongoing Maintenance Costs Are Projected To Exceed The Cost Of Full Replacement. As Such, Dbca&Rsquo;S Fire Management Services Branch (Fmsb) Is Seeking Quotes To Replace The Tower Like For Like Replacement Of The Sft. This Process Will Include The Removal And Safe Disposal Of The Existing Tower Structure And The Design, Construction, Supply And Installation Of New Tower As Part Of The Scope Of Works.
