Replacement of High Voltage Power Supply System at Western Harbour Crossing
The works include the replacement of HV switchboards, transformers, together with power and signal cables between the equipment, and other associated accessories at Western Harbour Crossing. The works are scheduled to commence in December 2026 and will take about 18 months to complete.
Remarks:-a. Selective tendering is adopted. Confirmed contractors on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the Industrial Type Electrical Installation Category or joint ventures with participation of local and/or overseas contractors with the lead participant or the major shareholder being a confirmed contractor on the List of Approved Contractors for Public Works under the Industrial Type Electrical Installation Category, who also meet the qualifications and conditions for participation stipulated in the tender documents are invited to tender. The detailed requirements for joint ventures with participation of local and/or overseas contractors, if applicable, are stipulated in the tender documents. b. Contractors not yet on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the Industrial Type Electrical Installation Category may also submit a tender if they submit a request for participation together with a duly completed application for inclusion in the above-mentioned approved list/category by 15 September 2026 to Boundary Crossing Facilities and Transport Services, 6/F, Electrical and Mechanical Services Department Headquarters, 3 Kai Shing Street, Kowloon, Hong Kong, meet the qualifications and conditions for participation, and the application for inclusion is duly approved on or before the tender closing date.
