The STZ (Triemli Hospital) aims to replace the existing 3 heart-lung machines (HLM) with new systems. The systems will be renewed during ongoing operations in 2027. The 3 heart-lung machines offered must meet all the routine requirements of the Cover cardiopulmonary bypass care. This includes, in particular, the safe performance of conventional open heart operations using standardized consumables (e.g. oxygenators, tube sets, reservoirs) as well as the Flexible use for patients in different positions (lying on an operating table, emergency bed, IPS bed, etc.). The systems must ensure reliable perfusion, temperature control and gas exchange and must be compatible with common monitoring and be compatible with security systems.
