Tender Details

The ULiege book store (building B24) is the first building located on the Sart Tilman campus (1964). A major work by Charles Vandenhove, it is today the subject of a major energy and health renovation in order to drastically reduce energy consumption andupgrade for the next decades of use. The planning permit for this renovation project has been granted and the main works contract has been awarded to SMI SOCATRA WYCOTEC. Work is currently underway (September 2023 June 2025). The works are partially ffinanced by the NextGeneration EU recovery plan which imposes environmental and energy exemplarity, in particular through compliance with the principle of DNSH (Do not significant harm) which also applies to this lot. This lot concerns the replacement of the existing oil boiler room witha pellet boiler room with propane bivalence, according to the technical requirements of these special specifications. The successful bidder for this lot is required to ensure close coordination with the successful bidder for the building renovation works contract, in terms of planning, coactivity andt technical requirements. This coordination is a company charge, to be included in the market price and cannot be subject to any additional cost during construction.
