Overview of the scope of work: The work covered by this contract includes the replacement of the fire alarm system, the replacement of the fire alarm annunciator in the basement, the addition of a ULC fire alarm communicator and the correction of certain deficiencies in the René Tremblay Building located at 150 Boul. Dion in Matane and designated as an office building. The works also include the replacement of existing folding doors and their frames in the premises of concierge R105, R204 and R301 by ULC approved fire-resistant hinged doors, 45 minutes, as well as all architectural work associated with electromechanical interventions linked to the replacement of fire alarm equipment. This work include, but are not limited to:1. Selective demolition of suspended ceilings (acoustic tiles, gypsum, paraline) and temporary opening for the passage of equipment and electrical conduits.2. Leveling, repair and finishing of affected surfaces (walls, ceilings and floors), including painting and matching surfaces for a uniform result with the existing one.3. Installation and finishing of new fire doors and frames in accordance with plans and specifications.4. Protection of surfaces and equipment existing throughout the duration of the work.
