Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Replace, Upgrade and Expand the Existing Flood Monitoring System at the Rio Cobre.

The Government of Jamaica has received funding from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) to replace, upgrade and expand the existing flood monitoring system at the Rio Cobre. The Water Resources Authority (WRA), as the implementing agency intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to cover payment under contract to install a solar-powered backup system at the WRA.

WRA hereby invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders to supply and install a solar-powered backup system.

Procurement Method: National Competitive Bidding/Local Competitive Bidding

Bid Documents will be available on Monday, January 7, 2019 between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. from the Receptionist for a non-refundable fee of $2, 000.00 and on the WRA website at http://www.wra.gov.jm.

A pre-bid site visit will take place on Monday, January 14, 2019 beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Tender Closing Date: Monday, February 4, 2019 at 3:00 p.m.

Late Bids will not be accepted.

Tender Opening: Monday, February 4, 2019 at 3:15 p.m. Conference Room Water Resources Authority

Submission: Bidders must submit one (1) original and two (2) copies of their proposal in a sealed envelope. Bids are accepted only in hard copy. All bid submissions must be addressed to:
