This project will replace mk-1f instrument landing systems (ils) with mk-20a instrument landing systems (ils) on runway 13c and runway 31c (including the replacement of the runway 13c glide slope equipment shelter) at midway international airport, chicago, il (mdw).
Work associated with the replacement of the runway 13c and 31c instrument landing systems will include the removal and replacement of the localizer antenna arrays (equipment, power, control and signal cables, and concrete foundations) as well as the glide slope antenna towers (equipment and towers).
All work shall be in accordance with the project plans and specifications.
The estimated value of the proposed construction project is between $500, 000.00 and $1, 000, 000.00. Contract performance time will be 30 calendar days. The awarded project will begin in late-february 2016.
Payment and performance bonds will be required as part of the solicitation.
