Summary:Sealed bids are invited for the construction of the Repair/Replace Humanities Elevator HVAC project at Virginia Western Community College, Project Code # 260-B5260-026 (M24VW201) located in Roanoke, Virginia. VWCC intends to install a new air conditioning system dedicated solely to the Humanities Hall Elevator Equipment Room. The project is generally described as the installation of a ductless mini split heat pump and associated electrical connections to serve the existing elevator equipment room. This project consists of coordination of construction of engineering items required for the new air conditioning system. These items include, but are not limited to, mechanical system demolition and improvements to the elevator room, electrical modifications to address the new equipment, and cutting, patching, and painting where finishes are distributed. No Work within the elevator shaft is proposed.
