This project consists of replacing the fresh air and stale air intake dampers in system #3. The fresh air and stale air intake dampers of system #3, the Mark-hot brand heating coils of systems #1 and #3, as well as that the return pipes and exhaust fans of systems #15-A, #11, #4 and #16 are all original equipment of the building. Having reached their end of useful life in 2020 according to the most recent building condition report (REI) for the building, these components no longer adequately meet the performance requirements necessary for ventilation, heating and air evacuation. Their obsolescence increases the risks of breakage, reduction in energy efficiency, discomfort for occupants and, in the case of coils, major water leaks that could cause significant damage to the building and disrupt the activities taking place there. Related equipment required for the operation of the equipment mentioned above will be also replaced in the project.
