Description
The Norfolk Naval Shipyard intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for service for the repair of a Cryopulse-5 HPGe Detector Model #GC4018. Service shall include open and inspect of the High Purity Geranium detector to facilitate the following repairs:
Repair of the detector crystal and attached electronics of the model GC4018 detector Replacement of Aluminum Endcap Replacement of the Cryopulse-5 Plus unitNote: This Synopsis is ONLY A NOTIFICATION that a solicitation is anticipated and forthcoming; no quotes are being accepted. The subsequent solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract. The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii).
