Abstract: The works entail the reconstruction of the collapsed and bulging section of the retaining wall supporting Byway 34 in Eglwysbach, Conwy and include general site preparation, civil works, drainage, earthworks, walling, landscaping and carriageway resurfacing.Works should be undertaken during low-river conditions (if possible) and the contractor should programme his works accordingly and allow for de-watering/ over pumping/ river diversion or site protection from the river, as required.The works are classed as urgent/ emergency works and the contractor shall provide a suitable programme that shows completion of the works within the contract period identified in Contract Data.
