The Departmental Garage Service ensures the maintenance and repair of all machines used by agents of the Territorial Units of the DGaML, in vsresponsible for the maintenance and operation of the departmental road network as well as the maintenance of special vehicles of the departmental veterinary laboratory, colleges and forestry/water and river services. The fleet of approximately 988 machines is made up of light 4X4 vehicles, vans, masonry trucks, 13 T, 17 T, 19 T and 26 T trucks (4x2, 4x4, 6x4 and 8x4), snow removal pushers, public works machinery, agricultural machinery, snow removal equipment, specific machinery for the maintenance of roadways (gravel worker, sweeper, etc.) and some specific vehiclestype refrigerated vans and library bus trucks
