Rental of 12 ERTMS equipped handrails The progressive deployment of ETCS on the Marseille-Vintimille (HPMV), Dijon-Modane and Nantes-Angers-Sablé axes is part of the strategy of modernization and digitalization of the rail network carried out by SNCF Réseau. through the National plan for the deployment of ERTMS on the French national territory. This program aims to support the evolution of operating conditions, to strengthen the interoperability of the network and to prepare the needs associated with future phases of works, operation and maintenance on lines whose commissioning or ramp-up horizons for ETCS-equipped vehicles are, at this stage, in a period between 2030 and 2040. In this context, SNCF Réseau identifies a need handcars capable of circulating independently on these different axes, in order to meet the intervention needs linked to the works and maintenance operations of the infrastructure. The machines sought must have homogeneous characteristics allowing their mobilization over the entire perimeter considered, while being compatible with the technical and operating requirements applicable on lines intended to be equipped in particular with ETCS Level 2 and KVB.
