Tender are invited for Description: Construction of Mid‐life refit at Red Earth Creek Detachment. Upgrading multiple building systems to prolong the life of the asset. Upgrades include scarifying and re‐topping the parking lot; upgrading all light fixtures inside; non‐invasive upgrade of cells for interim compliance (grilles, fixtures); re‐purposing one cell into a storage, conversion of two rooms to a different room purpose; various other security and fire suppression upgrades. The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by March 31st, 2021.This is a first phase (Phase one) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will pre-qualify bidders based on mandatory requirements as per the attached Request for Qualifications; second phase (Phase two) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The list of pre-qualified bidders resulting from Phase One will be valid for a period of 60 days upon notification of meeting the mandatory requirements or upon award of contract in Phase Two whichever comes first.
