01. Separate Sealed Bids are Invited by the Chairman, Procurement Committee of the Office of the District Director of Health Services, Matara on Behalf of the Office of the District Director of Health Services, Matara from Eligible and Qualified Bidders for the following Contracts.
Period of Issuing of Bid Documents : From 9.00 a.m. On 14.02.2024 up to 3.00 p.m. On 27.02.2024
Closing and Opening of Bids : At 10.30 a.m. On 28.02.2024
Interested Eligible Bidders may Obtain Further Information and a Complete Set of Bid Documents
Prepared in English Language between 9.00 a.m. And 3.00 p.m. On Working Days from 14.02.2024 until
27.02.2024 from the Office of the District Director of Health Services, Matara, Paramulla, Matara upon
Payment of the Bid Document Fee. Payments should be Made in Cash Only. Bid Documents may Also be
Inspected during the above Period. Further Details may be Obtained from this Office by Calling Tel. No.

Bids should be Accompanied by a Bid Security as Per the Forms Provided with the Bid Documents Valid
Up to 15.06.2024 in Favour of the District Director of Health Services, Matara Issued by a Commercial
Bank Approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. Bank Drafts and Cheques Submitted as Bid Security
Will be Rejected.
Bids Relevant to the Contracts should be Submitted in Duplicate and should He Marked as Original and
Duplicate. Original and Duplicate should He Inserted in Separate Covers, Sealed and Both Covers should
Be Reinserted in a Single Cover, Sealed and Submitted.
Bid Number and Tire Description should be Mentioned on the Left-Hand Top Corner of the Envelope
Containing the Bid. Sealed Bids may Either be Sent by Registered Post Addressed to “Chairman,
Procurement Committee, Office of the District Director of Health Services - Matara, Paramulla,
Matara” or Hand Carried and Deposited in the Tender Box after Entering in the Relevant Register. Bids
Submitted should be Valid up to 15.06.2024. Late Bids will be Rejected.
Bids will be Opened Immediately after Closing of Bids at 10.30 a.m. On 28.02.2024 at the Office of the
District Director of Health Services, Matara and the Bidder or His Authorized Representative may be
Present at the Time of Opening of Bids.
