4.1 Description of the procurement The city of Karkkila is tendering for the purchase of one new elevator to replace the old elevator. The elevator is a light elevator that is placed in an existing space, the modifications of which are included in the contract. The elevator serves passenger traffic and freight traffic. The use of the elevator during working hours is prohibited. The building where the elevator is located is a school building. The selected implementer is responsible for the design and implementation of the new elevator, as well as the demolition and recycling of the old elevator. Must be installed in the elevator possible to get a maintenance contract. The monthly payment of the maintenance contract must also include remote connection and monitoring, which reduces the response time for elevator repairs. The contract also covers monitoring devices and their installation. Procurement must be possible to implement during the year 2026. 4.2 Procurement requirements1. Service life of the elevator and spare parts The calculated service life of the elevator must be ≥ 25 years. The availability period of spare parts must be ≥ 25 years and all parts must be individually replaceable. 2. Machinery space, machinery and control center The elevator equipment is placed in the existing elevator shaft. The lift must be sized for 5 people and the maximum load must be at least 500kg. 3. Noise caused by the elevator The elevator must not cause noise nuisance that exceeds the set standards or is otherwise clearly disruptive.
