Tender are invited for Completely remove above the ground surface all trees, saplings, stumps, down timber, snags, brush and vegetation from one mi. of ditch banks, being the northern bank of the District ditch running along the south boundary of the NW 1/4 for 1/2 mi., the east bank of the District ditch running along the west boundary of the SE 1/4 for 1/2 mile, in Section 17, Township 5 South, Range 7 West; and to remove all stumps and all roots and other projections from those areas from which trees, stumps, and down timber has been removed. In addition, for a distance of three (3) mi., the District drainage ditch will be cleaned out and all bushes and weeds shall be removed therefrom, cleaning to take place on the western side of the District ditch running along the east boundary of the NW 1/4 for 1/2 mi., both sides of the ditch running along the south boundary of the NW 1/4 for 1/2 mi., both sides of the ditch running along the west and south boundaries of the SE 1/4 for one (1) mi. in Section 17, Township 5 South, Range 7 West, and both sides of the ditch running along the south boundary of Section 16, Township 5 South, Range 7 West for one (1) mi. The estimated yardage to be removed in the cleaning out is 33, 000 yds. The successful bidder will replace at least two (2) 8` by 40` culverts.
