SYNOPSIS: Remove Underground Fuel Storage Tank- Gator Park Airboat Concessioner Site- Everglades National Park THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Contracting Operations East, South Contracting Office intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to remove an abandoned underground storage tank of an unknown size located underneath the overhang of the restaurant at Gator Park, an airboat concessions specialist in Everglades National Park. Detailed specifications will be provided with the solicitation documents.PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation and its attachments will be issued on or about August 18, 2025 (the date is subject to change) and will be posted to the SAM.gov website at https://sam.gov/content/homeThis procurement will be 100% set aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 238910- Site Preparation Contractors. The small business standard is $19 million. ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: Between $25, 000.00 and $100, 000.00. TYPE OF PROCUREMENT: It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price construction contract will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical, past performance, and price proposal. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price, and other factors considered. A payment bond will be required; a performance bond may be required depending on the project amount, and a bid guarantee is not required.The contract is expected to be awarded by September 2025. Federal Construction Wage Rates for Dade County in Florida will apply.
