The work entails the removal and disposal of 44 2-bulb 4-foot T8 fluorescent lighting fixtures, their ballasts and tubes, currently suspended 13` from the floor of the equipment bay and the removal and disposal of 42 such lighting fixtures, ballasts and tubes attached to the ceiling 14 1/2` above the floor of the equipment bay. All such fixtures shall be replaced with light-emitting diode fixtures supplying approx. 310, 000 lumens in each of such fire stations.
Notes: All interested parties are required to obtain written specifications and make an appointment for a mandatory site visit no later than March 31, 2016. The site visit must be conducted no later than April 4, 2016. Appointments can be made and specifications obtained by contacting Deputy Chief Robert Brogan at TEL 847-426-2522.
