Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Windhoek will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. The U.S. Embassy Windhoek hereby provides the following Pre-solicitation Notice in respect of the issuance of a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for:Remote Generator Fuel Monitoring and Control System. The Embassy of the United States of America, in Windhoek Namibia requires the services of a qualified Contractor to design, supply, install, and commission a remote generator fuel monitoring system capable of providing real-time fuel level data, historical usage reports, and remote control functionalities.
Project Overview:The purpose of this project is to design, supply, install, and commission a remote generator fuel monitoring system capable of providing real-time fuel level data, historical usage reports, and remote-control functionalities. The system will enable remote access and management via a web-based or cloud-enabled dashboard and mobile application, enhancing operational efficiency and fuel theft prevention.1. Objectives:• Provide real-time monitoring of fuel levels in remote generators.• Enable remote access and control of the fuel monitoring system.• Log historical data for fuel usage, refueling, and consumption trends.• Implement alerting mechanisms for low fuel levels, potential theft, or leaks.• Ensure secure data transmission and access.
All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered.
The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.
