The subject of the public contract is the remediation of old environmental burden in the locality Mnišek pod Brdy - Halda, Bažantnice and its surroundings, including the necessary implementation (project) documentation.
Arose as a result of long -term Depositing of metallurgical waste and gradual flushing of heavy metals and salts. The long -term process of flooding of this contamination has permanent degradation of the neighboring habitat (so -called pheasantry) and salinance of a number of other objects, house wells or monitoring boreholes. In danger also Located breeding pond of the local fishing association.
It is an area with a total area of about 60 000 m2, which is situated approximately 3 km east of the center of Mnišek pod Brdy and from the east to the southeast adjacent to the former metalworking. The planned performance should concern land with parcel numbers 1965/28, 1965/27, 1965/112, or also 1966/1, 1965/105, 2070/5 and 2070/6, if scattered waste from heap. The northern edge of the pheasantry is lined with dumps of waste from the factory of metaling (and a larger part later used as an aluminum deposit), south of the landfills of solid waste - the east of the old landfill (mainly aluminum waste) and the west of the deponies of vanada and ferovad slag, now largely mined.
