Tender are invited for Notice of Utility Tariff FilingThe REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Matanuska Electric Association, Inc. (MEA) filed TA585-18, requesting Commission approval of its Community-Based Renewable Energy (CBRE) Program. MEA-s proposed tariff revisions include the terms, conditions, and fees for the interconnection of community energy facilities to MEA-s system, requirements and costs attributable to community energy facilities after interconnection, the criteria for consumers to participate in the CBRE Program, and MEA-s reporting requirements. MEA proposes an application fee of $1, 260 for facilities with a capacity of less than 100 kW and a fee of $3, 100 for facilities with a capacity of 100 kW and larger. Additionally, MEA proposes an initial administration fee of $3.50 per month for each subscriber.
