I. BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES
The Department of Tourism (DOT), through the Office of Tourism Development Planning, Research and Information Management (OTDPRIM), in coordination with the Department of
Tourism Region 1, will conduct the Deployment and Workshop of the ArcGIS Survey Tools
and Dashboard from August 3 to 9, 2025 (inclusive of travel time). This seven-day initiative
will be implemented simultaneously across three clusters: Luzon, Visayas and DOT Central
Offices, and Mindanao. The Luzon cluster workshop will be held in Region 1, with DOT
Region 1 serving as the host. Participants will include Planning and Statistics Officers from
the DOT Regional Offices and relevant operating units from the DOT Central Office. The workshop aims to build and strengthen the organizational and institutional capacities of
